Redefining Community Experience (RCE) is an exciting opportunity for you to meet and connect with other students in a setting that promotes dialogue about leadership and diversity. Sponsored by the Student Involvement and Leadership, RCE is a three-day retreat that will provide students with an opportunity to examine Washington University through the lens of leadership and diversity.
We invite you to share this experience with us and others who value opportunities for open dialogue. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities that intensely examine the issues facing our community, and to develop an action plan for making meaningful change on our campus. The retreat will focus on both individual and group experiences. In addition, students will be encouraged to actively continue their work through their other co-curricular activities.
Students from all four classes are invited to attend. Whether or not you have been involved with campus activities in the past, the thoughts and ideas that you share will certainly be valuable to the weekend's conversations.
The retreat will be held on January 13-15, 2012 . Redefining Community Experience is free to all Washington University students; this includes overnight accommodations, transportation, and meals. Participants must commit to staying at the retreat site (Pallottine Renewal Center) for 3 days and 2 nights.
Thank you for considering this invitation. Registration is October 10th through November 11th . We hope to see you in January!
Sincerely,
RCE 2012
